Well, I finally finished my singles and chain plying! I've made a yarn that is absolutely gorgeous, if I can just brag a bit. I'm going to be sad to give it away, but now that I've had the practice, I can spin some more!
Hitchhikergal's Handspun in Prism Spectrum, ~185 yards, light fingering
I love all the colors, this process must have been difficult. You did a great job!

So you actually spun this from roving? This looks amazing. It is so pretty. I've got some fiber I need spun, I might comission you to spin it for me. THis is gorgeous
ReplyDeleteThe colors seem vibrant and work well together. You are amazing.
ReplyDeleteSpinning has been my go to craft at home because it's really relaxing for me. Well, after I get past that it is actually hand spun yarn and doesn't have to be perfect!
ReplyDeleteMisodiva, my default spin is for a fingering/sport weight yarn and anything heavier than that I have even more unevenness to my singles, so it's not really reliable if you're looking for something specific.
